Kiefer Sutherland Talks '24' Movie

Finally, there may be some light at the end of the tunnel for TV's 24 to become a movie...

Rumours of the “24″ movie’s demise have been greatly exaggerated – at least according to star Kiefer Sutherland.

Speaking to Extra about the proposed feature film version of the hit FOX series, Sutherland sounds convinced that we will see quick-quipping Jack Bauer and sour-faced savior Chloe O’Brien again.
Soon though? Nah, “we won’t start shooting for about eight months”, the actor said.

Asked about the recent script changes (Billy Ray’s draft was rejected hence the postponement of the film), Sutherland said : “And I think it will up until the day we start shooting, and probably from that point forward, too. It’s a very difficult thing to take something that you’ve done for eight years, almost 200 episodes, and try and find a story that’s going to be unique and yet service the history of the show as well. That is to be expected. So we start shooting hopefully by next December or January.”

Recent reports suggested “Unstoppable” director Tony Scott may be in talks to direct the film.
