It's official. The Dark Knight Rises gets the "PG-13 rating for intense sequences of violence and action, some sensuality and language." Everyone knows that the film wasn't getting a PG or R rating.
I do know that with Bane as one of the villains of Christopher Nolan's ending to his Batman trilogy, the action will be much more intense and brutal which is something I'm looking forward to but having the PG-13 rating, the filmmakers probably tried to push the rating as far as they could go.
I just hope the film is a satisfying close to the epic trilogy.
