The film will return to more than 100 IMAX theatres for the week of April 27 to May 3, IMAX and Lionsgate announced. An overwhelming popular demand was the reason why they decided to do it again.
“The Hunger Games has become a cultural phenomenon and we are thrilled to provide moviegoers with another opportunity to see this year’s most successful film in Imax,” the theater company’s President Greg Foster says.The film has grossed more than $530 million dollars worldwide since it's opening day on March 23 and more than $13 million of that came from it's one-week run on IMAX theatres.
I'm sure if this run in IMAX theatres is another success, the film will return to IMAX again.
