Sam Raimi To Produce 'Poltergeist' Remake

MGM Studios is making a remake to Steven Spielberg's 80's horror classic, Poltergeist, and has Sam Raimi to produce, who knows a thing or two about horror, best known for The Evil Dead trilogy.
He will not be directing the remake, instead will be helping the studio find a director.

David Lindsay-Abaire is writing the script, which centered on a family who's daughter is haunted by an evil spirit... you know, the one that came from the TV.

Nathan Kahane is producing the remake alongside Roy Lee, who is best known for remaking Asian horror films like Ju-On (The Grudge), Ringu (The Ring), Dark Water and A Tale of Two Sisters (The Uninvited).

Do you think this is a good idea?
