The Woman in Black did fairly well in the box office domestically but it did exceptionally well overseas. It's the highest grossing horror film in the UK in the past 20 years.
The production companies behind The Woman in Black, Hammer and Talisman, announced that the sequel is based off of Susan Hill's The Woman in Black: Angels of Death and is now in development.
Don't expect Daniel Radcliffe back in the starring role since the sequel will take place 40 years after the events of the first one.
No word on whether director James Watkins will be back for this sequel.
