Funimation will be releasing Production I.G's Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror on DVD and Blu-Ray on August 14. The DVD will sell for $19.98 and the DVD/Blu-Ray combo pack for $24.98. Pre-orders start July 10.
The story follows the adventure of 16-year-old Haruka and her quest to find her lost hand mirror given to her by her late mother.
The film was directed by Shinsuke Sato, known for directing the Gantz live-action films.
The film was animated in its entirety in 3D Computer Generated Imagery and was nominated for the Excellent Animation of the Year award at the 33rd Japan Academy Prize.
