Now that Jessica Chastain is officially out of the running for a role in Shane Black's Iron Man 3, a new actress is now in the running. Rebecca Hall is in talks to play Maya, who is a scientist that helps in developing a nanotechnology called Extremis. When it's stolen, Maya asks Tony Stark for help to find the culprit and stop them before it's too late.
Hall is best known for her work in The Prestige, Frost/Nixon, The Town and Vicky Christina Barcelona.
Iron Man 3's production will start later this month.
