Ridley Scott Compares 'Prometheus' To '2001: A Space Odyssey'

If Ridley Scott says that his new film Prometheus is like '2001' on steriods", then he is probably right.

Ridley Scott recently sat down for an interview with the New York Times and compared his film to Stanley Kubrick's classic sci-fi film 2001: A Space Odyssey.

“God doesn’t hate us,” he said. “But God could be disappointed in us — like children.” The director also suggests that the origin of the space jockey from Alien will finally be answered, asking aloud, “Who was he? Why did he land there? Was he in trouble?”

In addition to the interview, Bloody-Disgusting has uncovered a viral with audio from the Prometheus crew that sounds pretty disturbing and haunting but oh, so exciting!

Check it out below!
