Sony Event - E3 2012

The Sony Event at E3 this year was pretty amazing.

Starting it off, David Cage, who created Heavy Rain,  revealed a brand new game for the Playstation 3 -- Beyond - Two Souls.  It's going to be more action oriented than Heavy Rain but Cage promises that it will still have an engaging story, interesting characters and amazing graphics.  Academy Award Nominee Ellen Page stars in the game as lead character Jodie Holmes.  This was definitely a highlight for me.  I can't wait until this game comes out.  No official release date has been announced but it will come out sometime next year.

Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale was announced after Beyond and it has every character from Playstation included.  It definitely borrows the format from Super Smash Bros. but that game sold very well so it wouldn't be surprising if Battle Royale sold well too.

Playstation Plus will be getting a bunch of free games for download. Over 200 games coming to the Playstation NetworkPS Vita is also getting a bunch of PS One games as well.

Call of Duty: Unclassified is coming to the Vita as well as Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation featuring a female assassin!

There will be four player co-op on Far Cry 3.

Wonderbook is a new game for the Playstation MoveThe Book of Spells, which was one of the books for the Wonderbook, was a collaboration with J.K. Rowling.  It lets you cast spells with the Move controller, making it your wand.

Also, Playstation Suite becomes Playstation Mobile bringing Playstation to mobile devices, starting off with the HTC.

God of War: Ascension was another highlight.  Epic gameplay in the next chapter of the God of War franchise.

Last and certainly not least, was The Last of Us.  This game looks AWESOME!  Billed as something like a near future post apocalyptic zombie game, it contains two main characters.
