It's Back On, 'Dumb & Dumber' Sequel Could Shoot This Fall

Just days after Jim Carrey dropped out of the highly anticipated sequel to 1994's Dumb & Dumber, co-star Jeff Daniels immediately fired back, stating that Carrey had yet another change of heart and was back on board the sequel.  Now that both stars are officially geared up, the Farrelly brothers announced that filming could begin as soon as this Fall!
A "Dumb and Dumber" sequel could happen as early as September, Bobby Farrelly told TheWrap on Monday. Farrelly, along with his brother Peter, ushered in a new wave of slapstick comedies in the 1990s with the first "Dumb and Dumber" and "There's Something About Mary." This year, they decided to go back to the godfathers of the genre, remaking "The Three Stooges" with Sean Hayes, Will Sasso and Chris Diamantopoulos as Larry, Curly and Moe. Now, with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels on board, Bobby says a return to the world of Harry and Lloyd is the only thing on their minds. It’s almost 20 years later in the lives of Harry and Lloyd and we just feel like it’s a great time for them to come out and see what’s happening in their lives.
