Goosebumps movie in the works at Sony. And Jack Black is in talks to star as the lead. Now this film won't follow any of the books by R.L. Stine, but instead be about a writer (like Stine) whose work begins to haunt him.
“School of Rock” star Jack Black is close to returning to family fare, as he’s in negotiations to star in Sony Pictures’ adaptation of R.L. Stine’s bestselling book series “Goosebumps,” multiple individuals familiar with the project have told TheWrap.
