Grudge franchise, the Japanese franchise,
Ju-On, is set to get another...
“Ju-On,” Japan’s most famous horror movie series, is to get a new sequel helmed by horror-meister Masayuki Ochiai.
The original film, directed by Takashi Shimizu, went into sequel in Japanese and was also remade in English as “The Grudge” by Shimizu.
Sold at Cannes by Showgate Entertainment, “Ju-On: The Beginning of the End” is set for a local theatrical Japanese release in late June.
The story involves a classroom teacher who visits the home of a student who has gone missing from class and gets sucked into a whirl of horror.
