RESIDENT EVIL 6 Gets A Title, Still In Script Stages

Paul W.S. Anderson is currently still in the writing process of the sixth RESIDENT EVIL movie, a series based on the highly popular Sony video games.  And taking a page from FRIDAY THE 13TH and SAW, this concluding entry will be titled RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER.

“Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is the working title. It may end up being the final title, but that’s what’s written on the front page of my script… I’m right in the middle of [the first draft].”

And when asked if this will, in fact, be the final chapter, Anderson replied:

“That’s what’s on the title page, it’s Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, so absolutely.”

So there you have it.  RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER will be the book-end on the series.  It's been a fun ride.
