The hype surrounding the new TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES reboot from producer Michael Bay (and starring Megan Fox) is reaching an all-time high, so...let's have a look at 1993's TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES III.

Breakdown:
The four turtles travel back in time to the days of the legendary and deadly samurai in ancient Japan, where they train to perfect the art of becoming one. The turtles also assist a small village in an uprising.

My thoughts:
Once again, this is one of those movies that I loved as a kid, even then knowing that the lack of Shredder was lame.  But now, looking back, this is clearly the weakest of the original three movies.  Jim Henson's work was sorely missed here.  I understand that the Shredder "died" at the end of TMNT2, and that new villains needed to be explored, but ancient Japan?  Really?  Although, it was nice to have Casey Jones back!
