'TBK: The Toolbox Murders 2' Now Filming

The sequel to Tobe Hooper's 2004 remake The Toolbox Murders is now filming. The film was originally going by the title TBK: The Toolbox Murders 2, but we're unsure if they're sticking with the new title or not.

Writer-director Dean C. Jones is finally moving forward on on his sequel to the 2003 redo of Toolbox Murders.

Sources tell Shock that Jones has begun principal photography with Christopher Doyle reprising his role as the killer (the "coffin baby"). The story follows the sister of Nell (Angela Bettis' role in the '04 film), apparently.

We're not certain if the story stays true to the previous released plot details we received: Picking up directly after the events of Tobe Hooper's 2003 version of The Toolbox Murders, survivors Nell and Stephen continue their night of Hell as they're rushed to the nearby Hollywood Memorial hospital. Meanwhile, detectives Cole and Barnes and criminal profiler McGavin exhume TBK's modern day tomb and uncover his origins.

Thanks to STYD once again for the scoop.
