'Hatchet' Trilogy As One Film, Adam Green Teases

This news is a few days old now, but it's still worth sharing, nonetheless.  Hatchet creator Adam Green intends to release the trilogy as one big epic film.  But before you get too excited, this could still be a couple (few?) years out.  Still very interesting and intriguing, though!

Keeping details sparse, Green told the packed theater he plans to one day release the complete Hatchet trilogy as a single, epic feature film. He added the new cut would also include new sequences which were left out of the previous films, including at least one additional death scene intended for the original.

My only gripe would be that there are two actresses who have portrayed the lead character Marybeth -- Tamara Feldman (Hatchet) and Danielle Harris (Hatchet II, Hatchet III).  It's also worth noting that Harris was the runnerup to play Marybeth in the first movie.  So however they decide to merge this, I'll still watch it.
