JP3 Stuff

Psyche in a Shoeboxfilm had this to say about JP3.

Okay, my uncle works with DreamWorks. I don't know how accurate this scoop is, but it's coming from my uncle.. and I thought it was kinda interesting. The third installment to Jurassic park is supposedly a lot darker and scarier; maybe even going for an Adult Accompaniement (14A, I believe in America,) rating. The new dinosaur is supposedly a carnotaurus, like in Dinosaur, but these guys have the ability to blend in with their surroundings, like in the Lost World novel. He also said somehting about a Baryonyx - a carnosaur with a snout like a crocodile, and vicious forelimb claws. Also, there are supposedly two characters returning from the first movie - and it isn't Ian Malcolm. Now, you'll have to take this info with a pinch of salt, because they haven't even really started the movie yet, but I thought you'd like to know.

USA Today landed the scoop today of the casting information that agents are being sent for this project (contact your agent if you're interested): "Casting agents who have received the breakdowns say this is the lineup of what's needed: * A 12-year-old boy to play Miles, the lead character. * A 40-ish actor to play Miles' father, Paul, a white-collar, sophisticated, Ivy League type. * A thirtysomething actress to play Paul's business associate and possible love interest. * A 25-ish actor to play a graduate student or paleontologist. * An Andre Braugher type to play a 40-ish military attaché. * A thirtysomething actress to play Simone, a naturalist." Thanks a ton to psycho1256.
