In Burkitsville, Jeff Donovan has come up with a money making scheme to cash in on the local Blair Witch legend by offering tourists tours of the Black Hills. Four college students take the tour and come across the home of Rustin Parr, a notorious killer from the 1940's that blamed his acts on the Blair Witch and was hanged. After setting up camp for the night, the group suddenly awaken to find they cannot remember the five previous hours and head back to Donovan's residence where stuff begins to happen such as visions, strange child voices and carvings appearing on their bodies - they've brought back something with them.
