Hearing today that American Pie : Book of Love director John Putch will reunite with Universal on Beethoven Saves Christmas, the latest in a long line of sequels to the ’90s hit starring Charles Grodin.
In this one, Beethoven, now a star - because, you see, he starred in his own movie (Beethoven) - is shipped off to participate in a Christmas parade. A youngster named Mason is assigned the responsibility of keeping an eye on “the drool machine”. Together, they get up to all sorts of doggone mischief.
