Carrie-Anne Moss Cast In 'Silent Hill' Sequel

Trinity, eh, I mean Carrie-Anne Moss has been cast in the new Silent Hill sequel, Silent Hill: Revelation 3D...

Neo squeeze Carrie-Anne Moss (“The Matrix”) and Kirk-killer Malcolm McDowell (“Star Trek : Generations”) have joined the cast of “Silent Hill : Revelation 3D”. The duo have been cast as Claudia and Leonard Wolf, respectively.

Hadida said: “Carrie has displayed her enormous talent across all genres – from The Matrix Trilogy to Memento – and we are delighted for her to join the world of Silent Hill. She will certainly bring a new level of excitement to fans of the videogame franchise.”

McDowell will pay tribute to Stanley Kubrick at the 2011 Festival de Cannes this May, by screening seven of the famed director’s films in fully restored condition.

Director Michael J. Bassett said: “Malcolm is quite simply an icon of modern cinema and I’ve been a fan since I was a teenager when I managed to see A Clockwork Orange. He has an amazing ability to bring new and unexpected dimensions to his characters and I know he will bring something unique and disturbing to Silent Hill.”

For years, Heather Mason (Adelaide Clemens) and her father (Sean Bean) have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.
