TV: CBS Orders 'Beverly Hills Cop' Pilot

Though we aren't getting a true Beverly Hills Cop 4, we are getting at least a TV pilot for a possible spinoff series, focusing on Foley's (Eddie Murphy) son Aaron (Brandon T. Jackson).

Maybe this will finally jump start a true fourth film.

CBS joined the pilot frenzy on Tuesday, ordering Beverly Hills Cop, a crime drama from Hart Hanson and a comedy from Friends producer Dana Klein.

The drama order to Beverly Hills Cop was widely anticipated as the project from The Shield's Shawn Ryan and star Eddie Murphy has already cast Brandon T. Jackson in the starring role.
