'Justice League' Script Rejected, Writers Needed

Maybe the world just isn't meant to have a Justice League movie.  Once again, the screenplay for the project, written by Will Beall, has been tossed.  This movie has seemingly been in development hell for almost 20 years now -- and understandably so.  The only solid DC character to a have a current successful set of movies is Batman -- and later this year, Superman will most likely joins the ranks with the release of Man of Steel.

But really, that's about it at the moment.  It'd be pressing to basically introduce the rest of the ensemble for the first time via a Justice League movie; you'd think they need their solo movies beforehand, as most of the rest of them are relatively unknown to the mainstream audiences.

Here's the latest:
I've now heard from multiple sources that the Will Beall script for Justice League has been scrapped. The story from each source is the same: it's terrible. Some sources seem to think the whole movie is going to fall apart and never happen, while some believe that Warner Bros will keep moving forward, unwilling to lose the superhero arms race.
Maybe one day...
