TV: 'Sleepy Hollow' Series Finds Its Female Lead

Fox has been quietly developing a TV show based (loosely?) on the Washington Irving short story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" titled Sleepy Hollow -- which from the sound of the synopsis is absolutely nothing like the source material or the 1999 Tim Burton film of the same name.  Welcome Nicole Beharie to Sleepy Hollow!
Shame breakout Nicole Beharie has been tapped to play the female lead in the drama pilot adaptation of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
So I guess she's the modern day Katrina Van Tassel.

Pilot synopsis...
In the script, Ichabod is described as a captain in the Revolutionary War who has been to hell and back. The former history professor finds himself catapulted to present-day Sleepy Hollow, where he's indicted for the murder of a police officer and forced to prove not only his innocence but make a wary detective believe he's a traveler from the 18th century.
Wouldn't mind it if the Headless Horseman was catapulted to modern-day as well.
