DEUCE BIGALOW: EUROPEAN GIGOLO (2005)

Today we look at yet another sequel that was in development for quite some time.  And although it doesn't quite have the same charm as the original, it's still very funny in its own right.  This is 2005's DEUCE BIGALOW: EUROPEAN GIGOLO!

Breakdown:
Deuce Bigalow ('Rob Schneider') goes to Amsterdam after a little accident including two irritating kids and a bunch of aggressive dolphins. There he meets up with his old friend TJ Hicks ('Eddie Griffin'). But a mysterious killer starts killing some of Amsterdams finest gigolos and TJ is mistaken for the extremely gay murderer. Deuce must enter the gigolo industry again to find the real murderer and clear TJs name.

My thoughts:
I hold a very special place in my heart for the original DEUCE BIGALOW, but admittedly, I've only seen the sequel one time.  I do remember some of it being very funny, and some of it borrowing heavily from the original.  A worthy sequel, but not quite on the same plane as the first, either.
