Josh Hartnett Finally Talks About HALLOWEEN H20 For The Box Set
Anchor Bay just posted a photo on Instagram, indicating that Josh Hartnett, who played Jamie Lee Curtis' son in HALLOWEEN H20: TWENTY YEARS LATER, has recorded a brand new interview about his time on H20 for the new HALLOWEEN complete box set.
This is exciting considering Hartnett hasn't really acknowledged H20 since it came out -- and even then, he referred to it as HALLOWEEN 7.
Film directors are given great accolades for the manner in which they depict and portray certain characters on the big screen. Given the popularity of casino gaming there have been even more films created that revolve around this theme, with sites like www.mobilecasinocanada.ca offering games dedicated to the mainstay of casinos in film, James Bond. There are however, many more films involving interesting casino scenes. Often these casino films include a connection to gangsters which further add to the drama of the movie’s plot. As a result, some of the most iconic characters have been created in these movies.
Danny Ocean -- “Oceans 11”
Originally released in 1960, this film was remade in 2001. The lead character in this film is Danny Ocean who is played by George Clooney. Fresh out of jail, Danny quickly seeks out his old buddies and begins to plan a major heist of Vegas’ top casinos. Following the successful heist, Danny returns to prison for parole violations but eventually is rele…
It appears that Disney is looking to make a sequel to the 1997 film Flubber, starring Robin Williams. Here's the latest...Ah, “Flubber” – - how I miss your kindly jello exterior. Or not.
Actually worked on the 1997 flick – starring Robin Williams in the ol’ Fred MacMurray role – in a marketing position, so believe me when I say I’ve had enough “Flubber” to last me a life time. No, please, I just couldn’t fit any more in. That first round of green shit quashed my craving.
Disney are said to be considering sequelizing the Robin Williams comedy. Joy. Not a surprise though, is it? I mean, the original film that “Flubber” was based on, “The Absent Minded Professor”, spawned a sequel, “Son of Flubber”. According to Whats Playing, “Flubber 2″ or – wait for it – “Flubber 3D” hinges on Williams’ commitment. If he wants in, it’s a go, if he doesn’t? well, it goes the way of “Mrs Doubtfire 2″ (Remember? Bonnie Hunt wrote the screenplay? Williams decided, after all was said and done, he didn…
Just some quick thoughts regarding the H20 workprint...
I finally got around to watching the HALLOWEEN H20 workprint that I've had lying around for going on seven years now. First impression? The music/score in this print is awesome! Why oh why was the majority of the music replaced with the SCREAM score? John Ottman's score was incredible (although, I did notice that he borrowed a little bit of the I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER score).
But that's okay, because Ottman's score really brought H20 to life. That, and viewing the majority of the movie with the KNB mask is like an all-new experience. Hell, just look at how much better the kitchen scene would have looked without that CGI mess.
I just can't stress enough how much better HALLOWEEN H20 could have -- and should have -- been. I mean, it's a solid film as is, but it could have been that "epic 20 year reunion" that they were striving for.
