There are many sequels that are downright pointless and have no business existing. And some sequels absolutely deserve to live. And this is the latter. This is 1991's Ernest Scared Stupid...

Life could be pretty if there wasn't someone like Ernest P. Worrell on this planet. In this movie he helps to escape an evil troll out of his grave. That's the start of the end for the world. But... Ernest wouldn't be Ernest if he wasn't planning on saving all the people. This action doesn't make it any better. It's getting worse.
MY THOUGHTS:
I'm going to be straight up. I love this movie. I always have. I owned a recorded VHS (taped off a Showtime airing) of the movie when I was a kid and I watched it several times a year. And now, as an adult, it's a great time capsule into the Halloween of yesteryears. Highly recommended, purely for the wholesome fun and laughs.
