Sometimes there is a large gap between sequels. That's not unheard of. And sometimes that decades late sequel has a complete shift in tone (think Texas Chainsaw 2). This is 1998's Bride of Chucky.

MY THOUGHTS:
I remember seeing an ad for this movie in a toy magazine around August/September of '98 and being absolutely taken back by the simple teaser poster that showed the eyes of a second killer doll. And the title, a clear play on the Bride of Frankenstein. I was hooked. I was young, but I was hooked. Bride, though not the best (or worst) in the series, holds a special place in my heart. The film is also responsible for introducing stitched Chucky, which has largely become the character's most iconic look.
