The Curse of La Llorona is finally getting a sequel. The film, titled The Revenge of La Llorona, is currently in production.
A sequel to New Line’s The Curse of La Llorona is finally underway.
Jay Hernandez, who starred as the titular Magnum P.I., and Monica Raymund, one of the stars of TV’s Chicago Fire, are the big names in the feature, titled The Revenge of La Llorona and that also has rising actors Edy Ganem (9-1-1), MartÃn Fajardo (Griselda), Acston Luca Porto (Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado), Avie Porto (Bob Hearts Abishola) on the call sheet.
Known plot:
The story sees the vengeful spirit La Llorona returning, forcing a fractured family to confront their past and join forces with their estranged curandero grandfather to battle ancient evils, before the Weeping Woman claims their children forever.
