We've heard unoffial rumblings that the latest iteration of Dexter was renewed for a second season, but not it's actually official. Series star Michael C. Hall made the announcement himself.
Previously, the prequel series, Original Sin, was picked up for a season two, but those plans were scrapped in favor of keeping the focus on Resurrection.
