Sequels suck, right? Well, they used to, but not any more. Scream was a smash hit by putting the viewer in the characters shoes and redefined an entire genre. And it happened again. This is 1997's Scream 2.

Two years after the events of Scream, Sidney Prescott and Randy are attending Windsor college. They are trying to get on with their lives...Until a new Ghostface killing spree begins. With the help of Dewey and Gale, Sidney must find out who's behind the murders. As the body count goes up, the list of suspects goes down.
MY THOUGHTS:
It should come as no surprise that Scream 2 ranks very, very high on my list of horror sequels. I've probably seen this entry more than any other from the franchise. This is a masterclass on how to sequelize a "one-and-done" slasher movie. This movie also gives us another stellar chase scene with Sarah Michelle Gellar (on par with her IKWYDLS chase).
