Sometimes sequels can gestate in pre-production for years. This is one of those. This entry should have been a quick turn-around, but alas, it was not and ended up being a 10-years-later sequel. This is 2018's The Strangers: Prey at Night.

A family's road trip takes a dangerous turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park to stay with some relatives and find it mysteriously deserted. Under the cover of darkness, three masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test the family's every limit as they struggle to survive.
MY THOUGHTS:
I was a huge fan of the first Strangers. I loved it. I eagerly awaited a part two. Prey at Night was a great semi-tonal shift from the first movie and still delivered on the chills. And that pool scene is just a chef's kiss.
