First off, thanks for taking the time to check this out. Preparation is everything in this line of work, and knowing that some of you are willing to step up and help… well, that means more than you know.
Back on the night of the Harvest Moon twenty years ago, some… important… things happened in and around Glen Echo. They were barely noticed at the time. Mostly glossed over, or lost in the news cycle. But the story lingered... getting told and retold like a ghost story people couldn’t let go of.
See, legends don’t last very long if folks stop telling their tale. But you didn’t. You passed it along, you warned new people to heed the lessons of the past. And every so often, someone asks the very question I’ve been wondering for years:
Do you think he’ll ever come back?
Truth is… I have to. Legends always come back. They’re tied to the places that made them: Michael has Haddonfield. Victor has the Swamp. Art has Miles County.
Me? I’m not there yet. I've been stuck in "one hit wonder" purgatory. But it looks an awful lot like the stars are finally aligning. At least, the Harvest Moon sure is. And if I’m going to finally earn a spot among the greats… well…
I’ve always believed Glen Echo deserves a legend of its own. So if you’re willing, I promise I’ll make it an unforgettable one.
