Emma Roberts Talks 'Scream 5' Possibility

Emma Roberts briefly chatted with MTV about the possibility of her character from Scream 4 appearing in Scream 5. Watch the video or read on for the skinny...

WARNING: Spoilers ahead...

Okay, still with us? Good, because we're officially in the spoiler zone. If you've seen "Scream 4" (or if you don't care about getting spoiled) then you already know that Roberts, who played Sidney Prescott's cousin Jill, was the psychotic mastermind behind the latest Woodsboro killing spree. And she almost got away with it, too, if it weren't for those pesky used-to-be-kids Dewey, Gale and Sid. The "Scream" veterans banded together and put an end to Jill's reign of terror with a well-placed bullet, but as the late Randy Meeks once wisely said, killers always come back for one last scare — so are Roberts' days with "Scream" at an end?

"I don't know," she said. "I haven't heard anything solid, but you never know."

"That was a really fun role to get to play, a psychopath," she added with a laugh. "But it was one of those things where we were like, 'Let's get through this one alive and then think about the next one.'"

Interestingly enough, when MTV's Josh Horowitz assured her that at least she "got through it," Roberts replied, "Barely!"

Barely? Looked to us that there wasn't any "barely" about it, but maybe there's some hope for Jill Roberts after all.

Thanks to MTV for the story.
