It's looking like Shrek 5 will now be hitting in December 2026, which will align with the original's 25th Anniversary.
Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz are returning for the new film which is aiming to open in 2026 in order to celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary. The film will now open near Disney’s “Ice Age 6” which will hit in December 2026.
