Title Alert: 'The Dark Knight Rises'

I know I'm a little late posting this, but the official title for the third Christopher Nolan Batman movie has been released...and it is: The Dark Knight Rises . A little lackluster, if you ask me, I would have preferred something more along the lines of The Batman or something like that. And on a side note, Nolan confirmed that the Riddler will NOT be a villain in this movie.

Mark Wahlberg is 'The Crow'?!

So according to a few other sites, Mr. Wahlberg has been offered the title role in the upcoming The Crow remake... Mark Wahlberg has been offered the lead role in the remake of “The Crow”, according to Bloody Disgusting. No surprise that Wahlberg would be offered the lead role of the mascara-adorned friend to all birds (played by the late great Brandon Lee in the 1994 film), but he hasn’t accepted the offer yet. My feeling is that the Oscar Nominated actor may consider the project a little too close to say, “Max Payne” – in that it’s another supernatural popcorn thriller about an unstoppable male protagonist – and will stick with more Kodak theater-friendly fare, like “The Fighter”. Producer Jeff Most told Moviehole that director Stephen Norrington (“Blade”) is putting together a great “Crow” movie. ”Stephen’s a great and talented guy”, explains Most, who produced the original “Crow” film and its three sequels. ”I first met him when we were shooting “The Crow: City of Angels”. He’s

New 'Scream 4' Image, The Old Gang

The second "official" image from Dimension Films' Scream 4 has appeared online. Although the characters are older, this image just screams Scream 1 (pun intended!). Read the quoted text for more... If things are awkward now for David Arquette and Courteney Cox, let's just hope they settle things come April when they have to promote their flick, Scream 4. The publicity machine actually begins rolling out this weekend when Arquette will join Neve Campbell at the Spike TV's Scream Awards on Saturday... Only we have the above exclusive shot from Scream 4. Separated or not, we're still looking forward to the return of the ghostface killer. Read more: Thanks to E! Online.

Boyle To Direct '28 Months Later'

Here's some pretty interesting news concerning the second sequel to 28 Days Later ... Danny Boyle wants to hang with some less-lively folks. Again. The filmmaker, who recently completed the promising-looking "127 Hours", is said to be keen on directing a second sequel to zombie epic "28 Days Later". Dread Central reports, "for those wondering, this news has come from Boyle himself. The director indicated to a good friend of our site that "there's another 28 Days Later in the works." When asked if the title would be 28 Months Later, Boyle replied "In theory, yes." Immediately the next question was if he'd be producing, to which Boyle responded, "Actually I want to direct it." There you have it, kids. From the horse's mouth." I don't believe we've heard anything on the third "28 days" movie since late 2008 - see below : Previously... Seems Danny Boyle was - excuse the pun - dead seriou

'Spider-Man' Cast Gets Confirmed

So the ball is beginning to roll on the Spider-Man reboot. Emma Stone has officially been confirmed for the role of Mary Jane. And here we go... It was recently announced that Emma Stone of Superbad & fame (who can also currently be seen in Easy A), has been cast in the role of Gwen Stacy in the new Spider-Man reboot. Stone will play alongside newcomer Andrew Garfield (The Social Network), who fills the shoe's of Peter Parker. True to the comics, Stone will be sporting blond hair for the role, as opposed to her usual red. Some may be asking, "What about Mary Jane?", and this is exactly why I am excited about this film. We can glean quite a bit about the plot of the film simply because the leading female character is Gwen Stacy! Thanks to TheMovie411. Get your mom a plastic spoon

Renee Zellweger In 'The Hangover 2'?

The rumor mill is spinning...and this time, Renee Zellweger is the topic. Could she be joining the cast of The Hangover 2 ? Read on for the skinny... Renee Zellweger is said to be in talks for a role in "The Hangover 2’’. Should Bridget Jones decide to book a date with the boozing wild boys, she’d be reunited with her ''Case'' 39 co-star (and real-life boyfriend) Bradley Cooper. "Renee loves the first movie and this just gives her and Brad a reason to hang out together on set. The funny thing is Renee looks like playing a girl the guys meet and one of them has a one-night-stand with her - only it's not Brad''s character!" a source tells MSN News. Hmmm... take it with a grain of salt. In more credible news, Empire Magazine spoke to writer/director Todd Phillips who says the film will see the crazy quartet headed to Bangkok. "It takes place in Bangkok and LA," Phillips told Empire. "There's gonna be some fucked-up s

Emma Stone Offered 'Spider-Man' Role

Emma Stone has been offered a role in the Spider-Man reboot...probably Mary Jane. Here's what Moviehole had... Update! According to Deadline, Emma Stone is - not suprisingly - to be offered the role of Mary Jane Watson in director Marc Webb's "Spider-Man". Considering her relationship with the studio, and the fact that they've helped carve out a nice career for her, it's likely Stone will say yes to Sony. That leaves "Glee" star Dianna Agron, Australia's Mia Wasikowska, Georgina Haig and Dominique McElligott to battle it out for the film's other coveted female role, Gwen Stacy. We should have some official announcements this week. Previously... I adore Emma Stone. But those of you who heard the podcast a couple of weeks ago, in which Ms Stone appeared, know that. I think I got her blushing - not that I could see her over the phone. Haven't got one of those "Back to the Future 2" contraptions installed in the office just ye

'Batman 3' Starting To Buzz

It's that time again: Christopher Nolan is gearing up for a third (and final) Batman movie. Read the yellow text below for all of Moviehole's Bat-goodness... The codpiece is out in full force this weekend (hee hee). "Batman 3" is as sure-a-thing as it will ever be. Christopher Nolan says he will likely/in-all-probability/possibly/ be back. All the cast are back (Christian Bale has been spotted training already). Catwoman is rumored to be making a jump for Bruce's scratching pole in the film. The Riddler is the big question. Oh, and Edward Norton wants a role. Michael Caine tells The National Ledger that "Batman 3" starts filming in May of next year. "There will be a new Batman. It will probably start in May next year. I assume I'm there, but in the movie business you never believe anything, you assume. But I've been in the last four Chris Nolan pictures, he's my lucky charm. I did 'Prestige', and recently 'Inception&#
