Tom Hanks Admits To 'Toy Story 4'?

In a recent interview with the BBC regarding Larry Crowne, Tom Hanks was asked if there are any plans to do a fourth Toy Story. And this was his response..."I think there will be yeah. Yeah, yeah. They’re working on it now. There you go.”Now could this be Tom's way of joking around? Perhaps. Nonetheless, I don't think a new entry could top part three.

'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D' Plot Details Revealed

Some plot details for the upcoming film, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D have been revealed. You’ve probably heard there’s a new Texas Chainsaw Massacre in the works. 3D one. Nothing to do with the last couple that Michael Bay had a hand in either. In fact, if this is a sequel to any of the previous Chainsaw movies, it’d be Tobe Hooper’s original that John Luessenhop’s reboot/sequel connects closest to.

The new film, set today, will see the authorities and some angry townspeople ambushing the Sawyer home - where Jeb Stuart is accused of carrying out his butchering.

Hooper, the local by-the-book sheriff, had agreed to give Leatherface/Jeb Sawyer a fair trial and grant him a good lawyer…. But that’s before local mayor Burt Hartman, an imposing town tough-guy, arrives with a mob to see that the murderer/s don’t even make it past their front door. Though they both want justice, Hooper and Burt have different methods. Things escalate when Burt’s mob start tying ropes to trees, prepping for …

Scribes Talk 'Captain America 2' Possibilities

Captain America: The First Avenger writers Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus talk about what they hope to accomplish with the inevitable Captain America 2...The writing duo of Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus filled in on a screenwriters panel for the Los Angeles Film Festival’s “Coffee Talk” series. Roberto Orci had a conflict so we got the writers of Captain America: The First Avenger instead. They joined Diablo Cody, Dustin Lance Black and Josh Olson to discuss the writing industry for aspiring filmmakers and fans.

As the panel broke up into the hallway, I cornered McFeely for some follow-up questions about his big summer movie. We discussed the process of writing Captain America, and the early plans for the sequel.

Q: Since Marvel is setting up not only this franchise, but The Avengers too, what is the strangest note you got?

SM: It’s not even so much we get notes based on what the next Avengers project is going to be. I would just say it’s not even notes. The world is …

'Scary Movie 5' Gets A Release Date

As well as the announcement of Halloween 3D, The Weinstein Company also announced Scary Movie 5 for an April 20, 2012 release. It's unclear on who exactly will helm the project, but as of Scary Movie 4, David Zucker was attached to a fifth film as well. But that has been some 5 years ago now. Personally, I'd love to see Marlon, Shawn, and Keenan Ivory Wayans (Scary Movie 1, 2) do another one. Hell, even if Marlon and Shawn don't want to star, at least let Keenan direct. Scary Movie 1 & 2 were hilarious. I'm not saying 3 and 4 were bad, but the bar was set pretty high.Nevertheless, I welcome a fifth entry, and I'm pretty sure this new sequel will take a stab at remakes and reboots -- and hopefully slashers (again). So, yeah, Scary Movie 5 is scheduled for an April 20, 2012 release.

'Halloween 3D' Has A Release Date

Dimension Films has announced that Halloween 3D will be released on October 26, 2012. Hell yeah, about time we got an October release date for a Halloween flick. My only concern is who will write and direct the sequel, which is a follow-up to Rob Zombie's two reboot entries. Originally, Patrick Lussier was set to direct H3D from a script by Todd Farmer. Could they be pulled off the Hellraiser remake to do H3D? I kind of hope so.

Steven Spielberg Toying With 'Jurassic Park 4' Idea

Just weeks after Sam Neill totally debunked any hopes for a fourth Jurassic Park, news comes from THR today that Steven Spielberg himself has approached screenwriter Mark Protosevich to see if he can come up with any way to re-ignite the franchise with a potential Jurassic Park 4.Steven Spielberg has dinosaurs back on the brain lately. In addition to the impending launch of the television series Terra Nova on Fox in the fall, Spielberg has been meeting with screenwriter Mark Protosevich to kick around ideas for how to re-boot the Jurassic Park franchise.

Several years ago, the Oscar-winning director worked with Protosevich on a potential remake of Chan-wook Park's Oldboy that was to star Will Smith. That film ran into rights problems and didn't come to fruition, but Spielberg, who directed the first two Jurassic Park films and was an executive producer on the third, has since met twice with Protosevich to fashion a story for a potential fourth film in the franchise.

Spoiler: Star Returns In 'The Dark Knight Rises'

The details surrounding The Dark Knight Rises keep getting juicier and juicier. Read on to find out which Batman alum is returning...I would hate to be the guy who blows all the big secrets for Christopher Nolan's upcoming "The Dark Knight Rises." In fact, after some of the ways I've stumbled across giant secrets over the years and blabbed them without knowing full well what the impact would be, I try to err on the side of caution when I can.

Having said that, some news crossed my desk today that is too cool not to share. However, I want to ask you to respect that not everyone is going to want to know this news, and without knowing context for it, we're still not sure what it means for this third film in Nolan's saga. If you reprint this news, please try to preserve some sort of a secret for people. I'm going to run the actual news after the fold, and I'm warning you… it could be a bombshell of a spoiler.

I contacted Warner Bros. to ask them to …

Review: 'One Hour Photo'

Well, it's been a while since I've done a review (sorry about that... is anyone reading this? Oh, you! Great!!) so I decided that this movie should be the one to have the honors.

One Hour Photo stars Robin Williams as Sy Parrish, a photo technician at a Sav-Mart store, which he has worked in for quite some time.  He becomes increasingly infatuated by the Yorkin family since he has developed their photos ever since their son, Jake, was born.

Sy is a lonely guy and he begins to believe that he is a part of the Yorkin family as he makes an additional copy of the photos all for himself.  He even has a wall where photos of the Yorkin family are placed.  When he finds a secret that breaks the Yorkin's seemingly "perfect" life, Sy begins circling out of control.

Robin Williams was perfectly cast in this role and he does his best work here.  It's BY FAR my favorite Robin Williams movie.  He doesn't over play anything.  He hits just the right notes in each scene…

Yes! Warren Beatty Back For 'Dick Tracy 2'!

Twenty-one years ago, Warren Beatty brought Dick Tracy to life on the big screen. And now, 68-year-old Beatty, will do it again! Dick Tracy kicked off this year's Hero Complex Film Festival, and, of course, Beautty introduced the film -- but when asked about a possible sequel, Beatty responded...I think it’s dumb to talk about movie before you make them. I just don’t do it. It gives you a perfect excuse to avoid making them. The more you talk about it, the longer it’s hidden.Long story short: now that Beatty owns the rights to the character, he does plan on doing a sequel. Not a remake or reboot or re-whatever, but a direct sequel. And I think that's awesome! Thanks to /Film for the scoop.

Stu's Tattoo In 'The Hangover Part II' May Be Changed

This is getting funny. But not in a good way. I'm sure you've all heard about Mike Tyson's tattoo artist suing Warner Bros. for the use of Tyson's face tattoo in the movie. Iron Mike seems to be okay with it, but his artist isn't. If the two parties can't come to an agreement by the time The Hangover Part II leaves theaters, WB will have to go and digitally remove the tattoo and replace it with another one for DVD and Bluray releases -- and that will get expensive. Just settle already. Thanks to the The Hollywood Reporter for all the details.

Tom Atkins Reveals 'Halloween 3D' Plot

At a recent horror convention in Kentucky, actor Tom Atkins was asked about his involvement with Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer's Halloween 3D by an eager fan. Here's how that conversation went...All this new talk on Halloween 3 and Patrick Lussier got me really excited to share my story about the recent conversation I had with actor Tom Atkins (Lethal Weapon, My Bloody Valentine, Drive Angry, etc). I recently met Tom at a Horror Convention in Kentucky and when asked about Patrick Lussiers Halloween 3 he gave me first the basic answers that pretty much everyone is aware of like "Patrick had a great script and story and was ready to begin asap but the Weinsteins basically ran out of money and simply could not do it at the time".

I had heard many rumors at the time about Tom being in the film considering he seems to be in all Lussiers recent entries and when asked he stated that he would be portraying a "Perverted Doctor" of some sort and he went on to say…

Movie Trailers, Movies Blog WARNING: Spoilers ahead...Okay, still with us? Good, because we're officially in the spoiler zone. If you've seen "Scream 4" (or if you don't care about getting spoiled) then you already know that Roberts, who played Sidney Prescott's cousin Jill, was the psychotic mastermind behind the latest Woodsboro killing spree. And she almost got away with it, too, if it weren't for those pesky used-to-be-kids Dewey, Gale and Sid. The "Scream" veterans banded together and put an end to Jill's reign of terror with a well-placed bullet, but as the late Randy Meeks once wisely said, killers always come back for one last scare — so are Roberts' days with "Scream" at an end?

"I don't know," she said. "I haven't heard anything soli…

'The Hangover 3' Already In Production

Things are moving pretty fast over at Warner Bros. Studios, especially the The Hangover franchise, which just kicked The Hangover Part III into production...Not surprisingly, considering it’s supposedly the biggest comedy of all time (Are they taking into consideration inflation because I know for a fact that “Police Academy 3 : Back in Training” was extremely popular!), Warner Bros are quick to cash in on the success of “The Hangover 2″ by rushing into production… “The Hangover 3″.

The Warner Bros comedy, reviews of which suggest it’s merely a clone of the first film, has surpassed $200 million dollars. The Todd Phillips directed sequel – to a 2009 surprise hit – released last week is the first film to reach that number with such speed.

Tracking-Board reports that former ‘spoof-flick scribe’ (he worked on the “Scary Movie” sequels) and “Hangover 2″ writer Craig Mazin has been hired to write the third instalment in the phenomenonally successful film series.

A “Hangover 3″ is going to…
